The Manson/Lapierre General Store located at The Lost Villages Museum site in Ault Park has a variety of items available for purchase.  The store hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily until the end of September.  Drop by during your visit to our museum site.  Please note that all purchases at the store are cash only.

Songs from the Lost Villages of the St. Lawrence

 The CD features James Gordon and the students of Rothwell-Osnabruck School. Also available for purchase is a songbook that contains arrangements for voice, piano, and guitar for eight of the songs on the CD. Proceeds from the sales will be split between The Lost Villages Historical Society and the ROAR project (completion of Osnabruck Hall).

Lost Villages Found Communities

A Pictorial History of the Lost Villages of the St. Lawrence Seaway by Anne-Marie Shields                   The abundantly illustrated book, which evolved through her artwork welcomed by the community, tells the story of some founders of this area and their contribution to our Canadian heritage. It highlights the geography of the St. Lawrence River and its history, some unique Eastern Ontario architectural features, the Seaway and Power project, built in 1954-1958 between Cornwall and Iroquois, and its impact on the riverside communities which resulted in the creation of the Lost Villages.

The book sells for $45.00, and is also available at: Upper Canada Village Store, Morrisburg, local stores, and through the author at annemarieart4u@aol.com
